Where it started:

StoreUrban began with a problem a lot of us deal with every day: finding drinkware that actually keeps up. A flask that's ice cold by the time you get to gym at 6am, still cold at your desk by 2pm, and doesn't leak all over your bag on the taxi or the school run in between. 
We started small, in South Africa, for South Africans, built around the way people actually move through a normal week here: early starts, long commutes, gym before or after work, kids to drop and collect, load shedding, heat that doesn't let up for months at a time. Drinkware here needs to work harder than it does in a lot of other markets, and that's the standard we hold every product to. We're not trying to be a huge catalogue of everything. Right now we focus on a small, tightly chosen range of insulated flasks and bottles, the kind of products we'd actually want to use ourselves, at prices that make sense for daily life rather than luxury shelf prices for basic function. Every product we add goes through the same short list of questions: Does it actually keep drinks cold or hot for a full day? Does the lid actually seal properly? Does it hold up to being thrown in a bag, dropped, or left in a hot car? If the answer isn't yes, it doesn't make it onto the site. We're a young, growing store online store. We don't have decades of history to point to yet, and we'd rather be upfront about that than pretend otherwise. What we do have is a genuine focus on getting the basics right: real product quality, honest pricing, and delivery you can actually rely on across South Africa.
